Icon buys PMG Research in latest CRO sector trial site deal
Dublin, Ireland-based CRO Icon has bought US research site network PMG Research to further its reach in the US.
PMG’s network includes 48 clinical centres in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Illinois, which are a mixture of physician practices and larger healthcare institutions.
PMG also has access to 2 million patients as a result of various partnerships with healthcare providers.
Icon CEO Ciaran Murray said: “By leveraging PMG Research’s network, we will help customers to enhance clinical trial feasibility and improve patient enrolment timelines whilst also giving patients access to a broader range of care options through clinical trials.
