PRA Wins Kansas Grant to Create 80 New Jobs
The Preparing for Research Advancement (PRA) Program will offer 80 graduates in Kansas this year with the opportunity to work for PRA.
David Dockhorn, PRA executive vice president, said, “We’ve developed The PRA Program to bring new applicants into the industry. Our goal is to train them and get them into the workforce.”
The training will be conducted at PRA’s Lenexa, Kansas site, which is the largest of the North Carolina-based facilities and employs about 500 people. The facility includes a business office, Phase I clinic and bioanalytical laboratory.
Duane Cantrell, Kansas Bioscience Authority president and CEO, praised PRA for creating a pipeline of talented professionals who will work in Kansas and continue to contribute to the CRO and pharmaceutical industries.
