The company says that the unit, called the Fluivac 105, has the capacity to handle large spills and a broad range of chemicals and biological fluids, which makesit suitable for use in the pharmaceutical industry.
The unit comes on wheels with a 5.3 litre aspiration tank, a throughput of 62 litre/min, and includes protective filters between the Fluivac pumps and the collection tank. It is an extension of Ilmvac's Biovac 102, a smaller-scale system designed for laboratory use.
The system is corrosion resistant enabling the unit to be used with a variety of media without the risk of chemical attack, and is easily transported wherever vacuum aspiration is needed.
