CMO gets US FDA approval

Medivative Technologies, a contract manufacturing and process engineering services supplier to the life sciences and medical device industries, has just been cleared for operations by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This registration certifies the Indiana, US-based company as a contract manufacturing provider to the medical device and life sciences industries and will be pivotal in allowing Medivative to win new business outside its home state, said chief executive Ron Lyon.

Wade Lange, President of the Indiana Health Industry Forum, said, "Medivative has filled a critical gap for both large and small medical device companies."

It is the only Indiana contract manufacturer capable of producing complete medical devices from stem to stern under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)-compliant quality systems, he added.

In addition to contract manufacturing, Medivative also offers supply chain management, production, distribution, and service/repair. Its parent company is Aircom Manufacturing of Indianapolis.
