ISPE focus on science-based manufacturing

Registration is now open for this year's International Society for
Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) European Congress. The topic of
focus is science-based manufacturing for the next decade.

The event will take place at the InterContinental Hotel in Vienna, Austria, from 18-22 September and up to 500 delegates are expected to attend.

Bigwigs from many of the industries top international firms and institutions have confirmed their participation as conference leaders and speakers and will present the latest international perspectives and advancements on key topics in the industry such as process analytical technology (PAT), lyophilisation, barrier isolation technology, quality risk management, process optimisation and validation.

Companies represented include Pfizer, Novo Nordisk, Werum Software & Systems, Centocor Biologics Ireland, Valicare, Aptuit Consulting, Genzyme, Abbott, Hoffmann-La Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, Foster Wheeler Energy, Wyeth Biotech, Conformity, Allergan and IMA-Telstar, as well as the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA).

Delegates will experience a host of plenary sessions and case studies, with the added option of making site visits to major pharmaceutical plants in Austria (Octapharma and Intervet), with plenty of time left over for networking.
