Bristol-Myers Squibb has named Quentin Roach to the post of senior vice president and chief procurement officer, responsible for global leadership for supplier relationship management, company-wide sourcing strategies, and procurement of all materials and services. Prior to joining BMS Roach was at Bausch & Lomb.
GVK Biosciences, which ranks among the leading contract research organizations in India, has appointed Professor Tarun Khanna of Harvard Business School to its board of directors. D.S. Brar, chairman of GVK Bio, said Khanna’s “vast experience in global strategy and understanding of the emerging markets will facilitate GVK BIO to grow to the next level.”
Parexel International has promoted Mark Goldberg to the post of chief operating officer. Dr Goldberg previously served as president of clinical research services and perceptive informatics at Parexel, and he will continue to oversee these areas of the company. He will report to Josef Rickenbach, chairman and CEO of Parexel.
