Sanofi licenses contract management software

Sanofi-Aventis Canada has licensed I-many’s suite of software for managing pharmaceutical contracts, with the IT company also performing installation, maintenance and support.

The software suite will be used by Sanofi to manage its entire contracting process from pre-deal analytics through offer development, negotiation, execution, adjudication, post-deal analysis and renewal.

I-many claims that its ContractSphere suite is the only complete solution for managing a contracts lifecycle and that it can enhance the users business processes and give a competitive advantage.

John Rade, president and CEO of I-many, said: "We are thrilled to see the latest generation of the I-many contract management suite being enthusiastically received by world-class pharmaceutical companies such as Sanofi-Aventis.

Securing Sanofi-Aventis Canada as a customer for ContractSphere in such a rollercoaster economy demonstrates the strength of I-many’s product offering and proves there is sufficient ROI (return on investment) for businesses to justify investment even in today’s environment if they utilise our contract management solutions.”

Included in the ContractSphere software suite are five programmes, Contract Analytics, Contract Manager, CARS, Government Pricing and CARS Business Intelligence.

A key component of the suite is I-many Contract Manager, which serves as a repository for all a company’s contracts.

By using a central repository I-many claims companies will improve process and pricing policy compliance and enhance audit trail capability throughout the life-cycle of every contract.

The latest addition to the suite is I-many Contract Analytics, which Sanofi is the first company to license. I-many claims this software allows the user to optimise contract revenue and margins, set discounts correctly and understand the deals impact prior to signing.
