Dubai-headquartered GAC said that the deal renews a decade long partnership, under which it has provided a full range of customs clearance and domestic air, sea and land transportation solutions to Zuellig.
The healthcare and pharmaceutical sector has emerged as a key area of focus for GAC worldwide and constitutes an increasing percentage of its revenues, with the company establishing long-term partnerships with several leading manufacturers, distributors and retailers from within the sector.
GAC said that its offering is designed to allow pharmaceutical industry clients to focus on their core expertise in research and development, product manufacturing and sales and marketing.
John Weston, vice president for distribution at Zuelling, said that: “It is with great pleasure that we extend our contract with GAC Philippines and embark on another year of partnership founded on mutual respect and integrity.”
“GAC plays a crucial role in our success by providing efficient logistical support to our nationwide network and has proved adept at implementing logistics initiatives in close collaboration with us.”
Jake Cuerva, GAC Philipines’ president, said that: “We have built a dedicated team of professionals to meet its shipping and logistics needs. Zuellig Pharma evaluates all of its providers twice yearly, and GAC has consistently rated highly in those assessments, thanks to our high standards and reliability.”
