The emergence of new trial centres worldwide, coupled with the increasing pharma industry trend to conduct trials in partnership with CROs at multiple sites, has seen electronic data capture (EDC) become a necessity.
The TrialMaster system is available to contract research organisations (CRO) that participate in US software firm OmniComm’s “preferred programme,” which also provides a dedicated, hosted environment and comprehensive training.
"At CPI we have had the opportunity to become familiar with many of the EDC systems available today. We have chosen to work with the OmniComm team because of their dedication to providing the best in industry customer service and for their superior EDC product TrialMaster," said Joerg W. Breitkopf, Managing Director of CPI.
"We are strong believers in cooperation and teamwork. With the assistance of our alliances' network and international partnerships, we are able to broaden our services and our global presence and offer superior products and services to our customers."
The collaboration, financial terms of which have not been made public, will be co-ordinated by OmniComm’s team in Bonn, Germany as OmniComm COO Stephen Johnson explained.
"Our CRO Preferred program continues to expand internationally and the significant industry experience of our team in Bonn, has allowed us to deliver the high quality customer service that our customers require.”
Johnson added that the "program offers members substantial benefits such as the fixed pricing and complete marketing support that other vendors simply cannot compete with. Partnering with OmniComm allows CROs to offer their customers a first class EDC product with predictable pricing that gives them a competitive edge."
