Appointments at WuXi and OmniComm – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma provides its latest round up of movements in the pharmaceutical outsourcing sector, including appointments at WuXi and OmniComm.

WuXi PharmaTech has appointed Hao Zhou as vice president of finance. In this capacity Zhou will be responsible for role include financial planning and analysis, enterprise resource planning system implementation, tax, and treasury.

Zhou previously worked for 11 years at General Electric. In addition Christine Lu-Wong has been appointed as Wuxi’s vice president and chief accounting officer.

OmniComm Systems has appointed Wolfgang Summa to the post of executive vice president, Europe & Asia/Pacific, with a remit to expand the company’s products and services in these regions.

Summa spent the past two years working at invivodata, has 14 years experience in the pharma industry and is a member of the European Coordinating Committee of Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC).

Kforce Clinical Research has appointed Randy Kehrmeyer as its president. Kehrmeyer has worked at Kforce since 1999 holding “responsibility at one time or another for every area of the business”.

Prior to joining Kforce Kehrmeyer was a Marine Corps Combat Arms officer for nine years.

In addition Kforce has promoted Peg Connelly to vice president of clinical operations, giving her responsibility for strategic leadership of pharmaceutical client alliances.

Connelly has worked at Kforce since 2007, prior to which she held a number of positions at Pfizer.

New England Research Institutes has appointed Laura Miolla as director of business development, which makes her the primary client relationship manager responsible for identifying, developing and expanding new business opportunities.

Miolla has over seven years experience in business development at contract research organisations (CRO), holding posts at companies including Clinsys Clinical Research and Veritas Medicine.
