Appointments at Hovione, Agilux, McKesson and CIT – People on the move
Hovione has appointed Terry Lambe to its board of directors. Lambe retired in 2008 having worked at Pfizer for 30 years, during which time he was responsible for the construction of active pharmaceutical ingredient facilities in Puerto Rico, the US and Singapore.
Adrian Sheldon has been appointed as associate director of in vitro ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism excretion and toxicology) services at Agilux Laboratories.
Sheldon joins the contract research organisation (CRO) from Charles River. In his 17 years in the industry Sheldon has also worked at ArQule.
PriceSpective has appointed Walter Colasante as a vice president (VP) and Sophie Murdoch as a director. Both appointees have significant healthcare experience at companies including Novartis, Allergan and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Ram Nimmagudda has been appointed director of new business development at Spherix Incorporated, a business that provides regulatory consulting services to pharma and biotech.
McKesson Speciality Care Solutions, a provider of inventory management services to pharma, has appointed Mark Walchirk as president. Walchirk joined the McKesson group in 2001 and most recently worked as senior VP and chief operating officer of the pharma division.
Sophie Baratte has been appointed as managing director of CIT (Centre International de Toxicologie), a European non-clinical CRO. Barette has previously worked Sorin France, Beckman and Johnson & Johnson.
In addition Jean- François Le Bigot, previously CIT’s chairman and CEO, has become executive president of the business and its holding company Applied Biology Company.
