Appointments at IMS Health, CPTC and LAB Research Canada – People on the move
IMS Health has appointed Donald Otterbein to the newly created role of general manager, business transformation services. Before the appointment Otterbein was responsible for IMS’ information offerings and other services in the Americas.
Michael Caswell has been appointed to lead the clinical evaluation team at Consumer Product Testing Company (CPTC). Before joining CPTC Caswell held positions at companies including Schering –Plough and Unilever.
London Genetics Limited, a business that forms links between biotechs and genetics research centres, has made several appointments to its board and management team.
Barrie Ward has been appointed chairman, Dominique Kleyn is the new CEO and Mark Caulfield joins as clinical director. The appointees have extensive experience in academia and companies including GlaxoSmithKline.
GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv health company, has made nine new appointments at its office in Columbus, Ohio, US. These include Natalie Broadbent being appointed as account supervisor, Tera Harmon named as account supervisor and Andrea Gasparo as senior account executive.
Daniel Ménard has been nominated as president of LAB Research Canada. In this capacity Ménard will take full responsibility for LAB Research Canada’s overall performance.
Before joining the company Ménard was president and CEO of Algos Therapeutics. He has also held positions at MDS Pharma Services and AstraZeneca.
Unicep Packaging (UPI) has appointed Lisa Hawkins as director of quality. Hawkins has more than 24 years experience in the industry at companies including Celeste Contract Packaging.
