A new management team at a NextPharma site and appointments at Quintiles – People on the move
Quintiles has bolstered its consulting group, appointing Bill Truhe as pharmacovigilance solutions leader, Charles Hardcastle as director, commercial stratergy of the European business and Suzanne Holter as change management practice leader.
The appointees have previously worked at companies including Johnson and Johnson, GlaxoWellcome and Roche.
Kevin Cronin has joined software-as-a-service provider NextBio as VP of sales. Before joining NextBio Cronin was SVP of sales at Symyx and he has also worked at MDL Information Systems.
Finland-based Atacama Labs Oy has appointed Steffen Mittwich as CEO. Mittwich has worked in the pharma industry since 1992, holding management positions at Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer and Winthrop Pharmaceuticals.
Bob Cashman, director of new business development at contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) OsoBio, has been appointed to the board of directors at the PDE: A Pharmaceutical Trade Association.
Lab Research Canada has appointed Jean-Guy Bienvenu as director, pathology services and Andrew Graham as senior director of operations.
Bienvenu has 12 years experience at pharma and contract research organisations (CRO), working at companies including Pfizer and Sanofi-Aventis. Graham has been promoted from within the company and previously spent 20 years at Charles River Laboratories.
In addition, Louise Bussières, VP, finance at Lab Research, has left the company to pursue other interests. Lab Research plans to appoint a new chief financial officer in the coming days.
NextPharma has appointed a new management team at its facility in San Diego, California, US. Firstly, Ronald Collins has been appointed as interim general manager and Alan Sanders as director of finance.
Furthermore, Mary Richardson has joined the company as director of quality and Bruce Johnson has been named as director of operations.
