Appointments at Lonza, Quanticate, BioClinica, TechTeam and Norwich Pharmaceuticals – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at Lonza, Quanticate, BioClinica, TechTeam and Norwich Pharmaceuticals.

Quanticate has appointed Alison Bond to lead its new pharmacovigilance services team. Before joining Quanticate Bond was an independent pharmacovigilance consultant and she also spent eight years at Parexel.

The new pharmacovigilance service offers clinical trial and post-marketing pharmacovigilance in order to provide comprehensive surveillance throughout the product lifecycle.

Jonathan Knowles has joined Lonza as a part-time scientific advisor. Knowles is a former member of the Roche executive committee and head of group research. In his new role he will mainly support the Lonza Innovation for Future Technologies (LIFT) initiative.

BioClinica has named Robert Sammis as vice president of finance for the company’s eClinical division. Sammis has more than 25 years experience in finance and operations, working at companies including unithink, etrials and Clinicor.

Guido Roumans has been appointed as director of global life sciences services at TechTeam Global. Roumans has nearly 20 years experience in the life science sector, most recently working at IBM Global Business Services.

Contract manufacturing and packaging firm Norwich Pharmaceuticals has bolstered its sales team with the addition of John Dillion and Nisha Harrison as new business development directors.

Prior to joining Norwich Dillion was a senior account executive at US contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) Catalent Pharma Solutions’ clinical supply services unit, while Harrison served as North American business development manager and Banner Pharmacaps.
