Appointments at Pacific Biomarkers, Halloran Consulting Group and Venn Life Sciences – People on the move
Halloran Consulting Group (HCG) has appointed Claudio Carini as a senior consultant. The appointment is intended to strengthen HCG’s biomarker and translational medicine projects.
Carini has held positions in biomarkers and translational medicines at companies including FMC, MDS Pharma Services, Roche and Novartis.
Jerri Hatch has joined Pacific Biomarkers (PBI) as associate director, business development. Before joining PBI, Hatch worked at BioStorage Technologies and Pathway Diagnostics.
Consulting firm Compliance Implementation Services (CIS) has named Venessa Piper-Givler as director of manufacturing compliance. Piper-Givler has more than 20 years experience in the pharma industry, including a period on the Noramco board of operations.
Dale Trask has been appointed as vice president (VP), global business development at Venn Life Sciences. Trask has experience at biotech and contract research organisations (CRO), including periods at Excel PharmaStudies and Evidence Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research.
ACM Global Central Laboratory has named Nandan Rao as general manager, Asia Pacific. Rao has previously worked at SRL Limited and Mettler Toledo.
Luke Kissam has been elected as president of Albemarle. Kissam joined Albemarle as VP, general counsel and secretary in 2003 and since then has held several roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in the post of SVP, manufacturing and law.
Preclinical CRO Crown Bioscience has appointed Chuan Shih as EVP, integrated drug discovery services business unit. Shih spent the majority of his career at Eli Lilly, holding a variety of research positions in more than 20 years at the company.
Timothy Barabe has joined Affymetrix as EVP and chief financial officer. Barabe has previously worked at Human Genome Sciences, Regent Medical and Novartis.
