Appointments at LAB Research, PBI, CRF Health and US Data Management – People on the move
LAB Research has nominated Kenneth Draper as senior director scientific operations and James Noveroske as toxicology scientific consultant. Draper has more than 25 years experience in drug discovery and development at companies including Schering-Plough and Charles River.
Noveroske has more than 40 years experience in the pharma industry at both scientific and management levels. During his career he has worked at Merck & Co, Searle, Ricerca and Icon.
Jerry Hatch has been named as associate director, business development at Pacific Biomarkers (PBI). Before joining PBI, Hatch worked at Speciality Labs and Pathway Diagnostics.
CRF Health has appointed Gregg Jewett to the newly created position of senior director, strategic alliances and partnerships. Jewett has more than 12 years pharma and clinical research experience, including time at Schering-Plough and, following the merger, Merck & Co.
Bill Fitch has joined US Data Management (USDM) as vice president (VP) of life science solutions. Fitch has previously worked at Business & Decision and CTG Life Sciences.
Aceto has named Gary Mo as head of its Asian sourcing operations. Mo joined Aceto in 1996 to establish the company’s sourcing operations in China. Before joining Aceto Mo spent six years at Matutina Limited and 14 years at Sinochem.
Bob Nordyke has been appointed to lead the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) practice at PriceSpective. Nordyke has more than 18 years of HEOR experience at companies including Amgen.
United Drug has named Chris Brinsmead as non-executive director. Brinsmead was formerly president of AstraZeneca UK and is currently president of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), a position he will hold until April 27.
