Boehringer selects Kuehne + Nagel for CEE transport
Kuehne + Nagel is providing Boehringer Ingelheim with temperature-controlled road transportation of medical products to Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Greece and Croatia.
Boehringer selected Kuehne + Nagel because of its cool-chain transport capabilities, including temperature tracing, and its experience of the Eastern European market.
Kuehne + Nagel has made a concerted effort to improve its ability to transport thermolabile products, investing in systems, facilities and employees, and views the Boehringer deal as validation of this strategy.
These investments have been made to ensure it meets pharma industry specific requirements and client demands for handling, storage and distribution.
