Appointments at Harlan, OmniComm, Cedra, OmniComm and Clearstone – People on the move
Harlan Laboratories’ research models and services group has made two appointments. Hilton Klein joins as global vice president (VP), science and new product introduction. Klein worked for 23 years at Merck & Co and most recently served at Taconic.
Steve Jennings has been named global VP, marketing and sales. Jennings has more than 30 years of experience at companies including AMRI, Cyberonics and Solvay.
Cedra has hired Thomas Lloyd as director of automation at its bioanalytical group. Lloyd joins from Pfizer and has also worked at Wyeth, DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical and GlaxoSmithKline during his 22 years in the industry.
Stephen Johnson has been promoted to president and chief operating officer (COO) at OmniComm. Johnson joined OmniComm in 2006 and most recently held the positions COO and EVP of business development. He also worked at Oracle during his 16 year clinical trial career.
OmniComm has also promoted Kenneth Light to EVP of operations and hired Beverly Hudson as SVP of business development.
Clearstone Central Laboratories has named Ying Zhang as director of business development. Zhang will be based at and lead Clearstone’s facility in Beijing, China. Zhang has 12 years of pharma experience in the US and Singapore at World Courier, PPD and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Mary Kate Wold has been appointed to the board of directors at Unilfe. Wold spent the past seven years at Wyeth and has also worked at Shearman & Sterling.
Genstruct has hired David de Graaf as chief scientific officer. De Graaf joins after spending two years at Boehringer Ingelheim and has also worked at Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
