Appointments at Almac, BioStorage Technologies and ACM Global – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at Almac, BioStorage Technologies and ACM Global.

Bill Kane ​has joined Almac ​as director of quality assurance and regulatory compliance for the clinical technologies division. Before joining Almac Kane worked at Johnson & Johnson for 10 years.

BioStorage Technologies ​has appointed Lisa Gilbert ​as global director of marketing. Gilbert joins from United Healthcare and has also worked at Eli Lilly and Covance.

Michael Tomlinson ​has joined the pathologist team at Wax-it Histology Services​. Tomlinson has been a toxicological pathologist since 1990. During his career as a toxicological pathologist he has worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb and founded Nova Pathology.

ParagonRx​, an inVentiv Health company, has named William Holden​ as chief safety officer. Before joining ParagonRx Holden worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked at Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis and SmithKline Beecham.

Tina Hunter ​has been appointed senior of analytics at S2 Statistical Solutions​. Hunter joins from Statking Consulting where she worked as a biostatistician. Earlier in her career Hunter worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency and General Electric.

Central laboratory business ACM Global ​has made a number of appointments to its teams in the US and UK. Additions to the UK team include Zoe Denham ​as project manager, Barnaby le Clerq ​as business development director and Ros McCabe ​as analytical scientist.

In the US ACM has hired Hua-Kang Wu​ as director of molecular and cellular diagnostics and Cholpady Kamath ​as director of anatomic pathology. Furthermore, the company has promoted Tracy Hendershott ​to the position of executive director, global operations.
