Appointments at Almac, BioStorage Technologies and ACM Global – People on the move
Bill Kane has joined Almac as director of quality assurance and regulatory compliance for the clinical technologies division. Before joining Almac Kane worked at Johnson & Johnson for 10 years.
BioStorage Technologies has appointed Lisa Gilbert as global director of marketing. Gilbert joins from United Healthcare and has also worked at Eli Lilly and Covance.
Michael Tomlinson has joined the pathologist team at Wax-it Histology Services. Tomlinson has been a toxicological pathologist since 1990. During his career as a toxicological pathologist he has worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb and founded Nova Pathology.
ParagonRx, an inVentiv Health company, has named William Holden as chief safety officer. Before joining ParagonRx Holden worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked at Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis and SmithKline Beecham.
Tina Hunter has been appointed senior of analytics at S2 Statistical Solutions. Hunter joins from Statking Consulting where she worked as a biostatistician. Earlier in her career Hunter worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency and General Electric.
Central laboratory business ACM Global has made a number of appointments to its teams in the US and UK. Additions to the UK team include Zoe Denham as project manager, Barnaby le Clerq as business development director and Ros McCabe as analytical scientist.
In the US ACM has hired Hua-Kang Wu as director of molecular and cellular diagnostics and Cholpady Kamath as director of anatomic pathology. Furthermore, the company has promoted Tracy Hendershott to the position of executive director, global operations.
