Appointments at PPD, Coldstream Laboratories and MPI Research – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at PPD, Coldstream Laboratories and MPI Research.

PPD has appointed Neil McCullough as vice president (VP) of quality management systems. McCullough worked for nine years at Pfizer and served as a consultant to GlaxoSmithKline’s division of manufacturing.

Larry Kranking has been named as president and CEO of Coldstream Laboratories. Kranking has held a number of manufacturing and quality roles at companies including Pharmaceutical Intergrators, Eisai, ISPE and Boehringer Ingelheim.

MPI Research has hired Alan Breau as VP of its bioanalytical and analytical services division. Over his 30 year career Breau has worked at a number of companies including Pfizer, Theravance, Amgen, Eli Lilly and Allergan.

Lou Tapper has joined Longistics as VP of global business development. Tapper has 18 years of transportation and logistics sales experience, including 10 years at FedEx.

Novella Clinical has appointed Jane Bentley as VP, clinical operations. Bentley has previously held positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Roche, and spent the past 15 years at i3.

Karin Dorrepaal has been named as SVP in the corporate strategy and acquisitions department at DSM. At the end of 2011 Dorrepaal is to succeed Hein Schreuder as EVP, corporate strategy and acquisitions department, reporting to Feike Sijbesma, CEO and chairman of the company.

ePRO provider CRF Health has hired Bonnie Teschendorf as patient reported outcomes scientific advisor. Before joining CRF Teschendorf held a similar position at Johnson & Johnson and has also worked at the National Office of the American Cancer Society.
