Appointments at Aurobindo, DPT, Ricerca and Datatrak – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at Aurobindo, DPT, Ricerca and Datatrak.

N Govindarajan has been named as CEO of two units at Aurobindo Pharma. Before taking charge of the active pharmaceutical ingredient and contract research and manufacturing services (CRAMS) units Govindarajan was managing director and CEO of Shasun Pharmaceuticals.

DPT Laboratories has hired Rick Bentzinger as vice president (VP) of human resources. Bentzinger joins from Oregon Health & Science University and has also worked at Danaher, Colfax and Mack Molding.

Eric Lubert has joined Ricerca Biosciences as a scientist in its drug safety division. Before joining Ricerca Lubert worked at Battelle Memorial Research Institute and Bio-World.

Datatrak has appointed William Gluck as VP of clinical and consulting services. Gluck has worked in the clinical trial sector for 30 years, holding positions at Amgen, BASF, Gilead Sciences and Triangle Pharmaceuticals.

Carmela Houston-Henry has been named business development director at Biomedical Research Alliance of New York (BRANY). Houston-Henry has previously worked at Bracco Diagnostics and Forest Laboratories.

Contract packager Pharma Tech Industries (PTI) has appointed Bryan Cox as staff engineer. Earlier in his career Cox worked at Remington Medical, Pixel Optics and Johnson & Johnson.

Jeffrey Bauer has joined ChemWorth as president. Before joining the API supplier Bauer worked at Eon Labs, Ivax Pharmaceuticals, AAIPharma and, most recently, Sandoz.
