Appointments at AMRI, Novella Clinical, BioClinica and Idis – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at AMRI, Novella Clinical, BioClinica and Idis.

David Lathbury has joined AMRI as vice president (VP) of chemical development, taking responsibility for operations in Albany, Rensselaer and Syracuse, New York. Lathbury joins from AstraZeneca and has also worked at SmithKline Beecham and MTM Fine Chemicals.

Novella Clinical has hired Charles Lambert as chief financial officer. Lambert has worked in healthcare IT for 12 years, at companies including Capario and Misys Healthcare Systems.

Chris Dew has been appointed as managing director of UK Labels at the Clondalkin Group specialist packaging unit. Dew has previously worked at BPIF Cartons, CPC UK and Polestar.

BioClinica has named James Lovett to its board of directors, increasing its size to nine members. Lovett currently serves as general counsel of Covance, a position he has held since 2001, having previously worked at FMC Corporation.

Guy Pedelini has joined Idis as VP of global human resources. Guy joins from McCann Healthcare Worldwide and has previously worked at Bayer, Universal Health Services, General Electric, SGS and Bowne.

Life sciences advisory and management services provider Bionest Partners has appointed Sean Xinghua Hu as managing director, North America and head, Bionest USA. Hu has life sciences consulting experience from working at IMS Management Consulting and AT Kearney.

AB Controls has hired Michael Peerenboom as VP of business development. Peerenboom has 25 years of experience in drug development and automation. He has previously worked at KMC Systems and Cybio.
