PRA sets up Prague Ph I unit

PRA International has opened a new Phase I unit in Prague in the Czech Republic, continuing its recent expansion programme.

The new unit is a 10 bed facility for first in human (FIH) clinical research that, according to PRA, will further boost its access to patients in one of central and Eastern Europe’s (CEE) rapidly expanding trial hubs.

PRA, which already has trial units in CEE, recently expanded its operations in Poland, moving its early-phase development and product registration teams into a shared office.

Prior to the Poland move the contract research organisation (CRO) set up a bioanalytical laboratory in Lenexa, Kansas in the US.
