Domainex to move to bigger lab

Domainex said it will move to a new laboratory in Cambridge in the UK and invest in new technologies to boost its discovery services offering.

CEO Eddy Littler said the relocation will allow Domainex to “service a greater number of clients and to increase our revenue stream going forward” adding that it fits with wider expansion efforts that the firm it appoint George Buckley as Business Development manager earlier this year.

The extra capacity is also needed to further Domainex’ internal R&D efforts according to research director Trevor Perrior, who cited the firm’s work on oncology and inflammation targets, IKKε and TBK1, as the most likely beneficiary.

Further details of the privately owned contract research organisation’s (CRO) investment have not been disclosed.
