LB Bohle says healthy level of demand for processing technology demos at its recently opened service centre is an indication of processing tech market recovery.

in-Pharmatechnologist.com spoke with LB Bohle VP and general manager Martin Hack at Interphex 2011 in New York, who said the firm had seen “a general uptick in the market” from the slowdown seen in 2009 and the first half of last year.

He explained that the firm is seeing interest from both pharmaceutical manufacturers seeking to invest in in-house processing tech as well as from contract manufacturing organisations (CMO) that place a high value on flexibility.

And in geographic terms Hack explained that although North American is still LB Bohle’s most significant market, recently opened offices in China, India and Singapore are also seeing increasing demand.
