Noax sees growing pharma demand for sealed PCs
Industrial PC supplier Noax says pharmaceutical industry demand for sealed computers is growing and being driven by increasing regulatory focus on containment in manufacturing processes.
in-PharmaTechnologist spoke with C Coley Mitchell at Interphex 2011 in New York who explained that, much like Noax’ customers in the food sector, the drugmakers need computer systems that are resilient and resistant.
“They [pharmaceutical manufacturers] need a sealed system that is not going to introduce dust or contaminants into their cleanroom environments.”
