inVentiv combines pharma training units for fuller offering
inVentiv Health says it will now offer a one-stop-shop for pharma and biotech training services after merging its subsidiaries Pharmaceutical Institute and Preceptiv Learning Solutions.

The move sees North Carolina, US-based Pharmaceutical Institute – which provides specialised sales and marketing training solutions – swallow up Preceptiv, integrating the firm’s full-service training development offering into its own. The Preceptiv brand will no longer exist in its own right.

"The integration of two key providers of pharmaceutical and biotech training within the inVentiv family will allow us to provide our clients with a broader range of service offerings through a single point of contact," said Garry O'Grady, general manager at Pharmaceutical Institute.

Services plucked from Preceptiv include both the assessment and creation of training programs for sales.

Pharmaceutical Institute’s current activities involve developing high-impact live and distance learning solutions within the pharma space.

The united companies’ key areas for program development now include brand management, business development, clinical development, managed markets, medical affairs, sales, and trade and distribution.
