Myrtus adds informed consent iPad app to cut enrolment times
Myrtus has introduced an informed consent iPad app to ensure consistent patient education and cut enrolment times.
The iPad app uses animation and other visuals to explain the informed consent process to patients. Myrtus has begun rolling out the app and claims early users have noted shorter enrolment times.
“Our iPad application simplifies the patient education process, giving sponsors better control of study starts and ensuring a better and more consistent continuum of care for enrolled subjects”, Anthony Costello, chief operating officer for Mytrus, said.
San Francisco-based Mytrus was founded in 2009 to develop technology to facilitate virtual trials.
