The idea is to help patients work with physicians to make informed decisions as their illnesses progress, with Vital Decisions providing the counsellors anf iMM providing patients with clinical advice.
iMM CEO Marc Palmer said: " We believe that together we can empower patients to become more active decision makers when it comes to their health, help them get appropriate care and avoid much of the unnecessary physical and emotional pain associated with advanced illnesses."
The agreement – financial terms of which have not been disclosed – is the latest in a number of moves inVentiv has made to broaden its business model, the most recent of which was the acquisition of marketing services firm Kazaam International in June.
