IPEC Americas announces results of exec board elections

Representatives from Pfizer, J&J, Dow Corning and EMD Millipore will join IPEC Americas’ executive board and lead the excipient industry organisation as it moves to a new HQ.

The International Excipients Council-Americas (IPEC Americas) board met on December 5 to pick a new executive team and set its budget for 2013.

John Giannone from Noramco was named as chairman elect, while Dow Corning’s Katherine Ulman was appointed vice chair for science and regulatory affairs. Thomas Schultz from Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Pharmaceutical Research will be vice chair of user relations.

Bretta Erskine from EMD Millipore and Gina Marsee from Pfizer join the IPEC Americas executive committee.

The US organisation also reiterated that it moving headquartered and – as of January 1 – will be based at: 3138 N. 10th Street, Arlington, VA 22201
