Through the agreement, Harlan CRS will strengthen its local presence across the region and Anthony Bishop of Invenium Pharmacology will take on the primary contact role.
As the local agent for Harlan CRS, Bishop will provide leadership and management expertise to connect drug companies with the services and insight they need to advance their programs.
Ciriaco Maraschiello, director of strategic initiatives, drug discovery and translational medicine at Harlan CRS, told us: “Regarding chemical testing, our analytical equipment and scientific knowledge enable us to perform both general and esoteric testing proficiently as well as tackle the most complex substances. We offer comprehensive testing and submission services to fulfill regulatory standards.”
Other testing services at the site will include:
• Analytical Chemistry;
• Bioanalytics;
• Drug Discovery & Translational Medicine;
• In Vitro/In Vivo ADME;
• Pathology and Histopathology;
• Pharmacokinetics and Toxicokinetics;
• Safety Pharmacology;
• Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety;
• Toxicology;
• Environmental Sciences; and
• Central Lab Services.
The expansion into the Pacific Rim comes as Harlan recently expanded twice in Europe, as well as into India.
“There are great growth opportunities for Harlan CRS in this region,” Maraschiello added. “Working with Anthony Bishop and Invenium Pharmacology, we can provide the expertise that companies and organizations in this region need — at a local level.”
