The contract research organisation recently relocated its operations from Horsham and Fort Washington to Blue Bell, now the company’s largest office.
PRA says it is hiring across “all major divisions”, including clinical operations and corporate for positions at the Blue Bell office and nearby.
“We are delighted to be in this beautiful new space and we look forward to welcoming more talented individuals to join our team,” said Harris Koffer, president of the Strategic Solutions Group at PRA. “This new facility is a testament to PRA’s continued growth and our commitment to our clients and the surrounding community.”
PRA has spent almost $4m so far on its Blue Bell site and says it expects to create “at least” 250 full-time jobs by the end of 2016, as well as retaining its 1,150 existing employees in the area.
The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) helped fund the expansion with a $750,000 Pennsylvania First Program (PFP) grant, citing the project’s economic benefit to the region.
“The life science industry is a major driver of economic growth for the commonwealth,” said DCED Secretary Dennis Davin. “PRA Health Sciences has shown a commitment to remain a part of this growth and we’re thrilled that the company will be creating at least 250 new, high-paying jobs through this project.”
The facility, at 731 Arbor Way. The 148,000 sq ft facility houses workspace for 860 employees and includes shared tenant conference space and a fitness centre for staff.
PRA has more than 11,000 employees worldwide.
