According to Bracket, the acquisition adds to the company’s forecasting, inventory management, cold chain distribution, and controls electronic batch records capabilities, as well as improving quality control on the labeling, release, assignment and return of clinical trial materials.
“Management of the clinical supply chain has traditionally been demarcated from trial-specific activities such as patient randomization and inventory management at trial sites and depots,” Jim Primerano Sr. Vice President and General Manager at Bracket told us.
“There are tremendous opportunities to make this process more efficient by bringing these technologies together, and that’s what we aim to do.”
CLINapps’ product portfolio will be integrated into Bracket’s eClinical product suite, augmenting the Company’s Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) capabilities.
Additionally, CLINapps’ clinical trial material management software solution, SmartSupplies, will enable Bracket to manage end-to-end clinical inventory administration for sponsors.
