“Having clean data quickly is the focus of LabConnect’s data integration solutions,” Eric Hayashi, LabConnect’s president and CEO, told Outsourcing-Pharma.com.
According to the company, the newly enhanced data management capabilities streamlines clinical trials, as it coordinates the logistics for programming, coding, cleaning, and conditioning data from a variety of sources.
“By providing appropriate intervention per an agreed process at the critical time has saved our clients weeks of delays and helped to ensure that timelines are respected,” added Hayashi.
Additionally, the data can be made available within LabConnect’s Biovisualization environment, which Hayashi explained facilitates data interpretation in near real-time.
“Labconnect can acquire data from multiple sources, collate the data, query and validate the data, and make the data available for review within a true biovisualization environment,” he said, adding that data handling has become increasingly complex over the last 10 years.
“It is sometimes difficult for sponsors to understand how to tackle specific data issues that may be challenging them,” said Hayashi. “Our experience is that there are many different approaches to data handling due to the varying level of integration of the data handling processes. LabConnect’s approach is to work with our clients to understand the challenges and to find process solutions which improve data flow.”
