Michael Kuehn, Vice President, Information Technology at Schulman IRB, told us by integrating with Veeva, it has developed a platform where it can share documents and information directly with its clients.
“This platform approach enables us to standardize our processes and leverage our development integration one time with Veeva, while still allowing us to work with each of our clients’ unique requirements on an individual basis,” he said.
With this approach, Kuehn explained the company will be able to offer a “much faster and, at the same time, a more robust service for our clients.”
According to Kuehn, the integration with Veeva provides a “significant productivity enhancement” for clients that use the Veeva Vault Content Management Platform.
“By automatically transferring all study-related documents from the Schulman eTools portal directly to our clients’ Veeva Vault environment, there will be no delay in receiving documentation, and our customers won’t have to touch the documents,” explained Kuehn.
“We’re able to take time out of the process by moving from submission to approval and archive in the Schulman environment, directly and automatically to the client’s environment in Veeva Vault,” he said.
Schulman IRB has completed development of the initial connectivity components with Veeva Vault. It is currently working with Veeva and various individual clients to finalize the platform development. Kuehn said the company will continue to reach out to additional clients who can benefit from the integration.
“We’re continually looking for better ways to leverage technology and streamline processes for our clients and for ourselves,” he added. “We’re excited to be able to offer this technology.”
