Concept Life Sciences has teamed up with the UK-based bioanalytical contract research organization (CRO) Alderley Analytical to provide customers with bioanalytical and DMPK study services.

Under the terms of the agreement, Concept will gain access to Alderley Analytical’s bioanalysis capabilities.

In turn, Alderley Analytical will gain access to Concept’s synthetic, organic and medicinal chemistry, biology, toxicology, and analytical services.

Alderley Analytical’s 3,200 square foot facility is located in Cheshire, UK at the Alderley Park research hub.

Concept also has two facilities at the campus, which Michael Fort, executive chairman of the company, previously told us is “a very attractive place for the recruitment of world class scientists.” The new space – announced in September 2017 – was added to support the company’s acceleration in 2018, Fort added.

Most recently, in December 2017, Concept announced a $338,000 (£250,000) investment at its East Kilbride analytical services site. The investment doubled capacity across several capabilities.

The Manchester-based CRO operates across 11 other locations in the UK and launched its US group in June 2016.
