Frenova Renal Research is expanding its site network to accelerate clinical trial enrollment with the addition of more than 450 PIs.

A division of Fresenius Medical Care North America (FMCNA), Frenova provides contract clinical renal research services.

The company recently added a new location to its lineup of managed clinical research sites, which includes more than 450 principal investigators (PIs) across more than 260 sites.

The new site, the Nevada Kidney Disease and Hypertension Centers in Las Vegas, adds 24 physicians, 2,000 end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, and 15,000 chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients to the program.

In late 2018, Frenova added a fifth clinical research site to its site management organization and F1RST Up (Frenova Rapid Start Up) alliance, which aims to simplify and expedite the startup of clinical trials investigating renal health care.

The addition of the Renal Associates of Baton Rouge added 6,000 kidney disease patients and 1,500 end-stage renal disease patients.
