ClinOne is now integrated with Uber Health to provide patient transportation services to clinical trial sites.

ClinicalTrialConnect is ClinOne’s patient-facing “concierge platform,” which manages the patient trial experience and is now fully-integrated with Uber Health.

Launched in 2018, Uber Health partners with health care organizations to provide patient transportation. Uber worked with the HIPAA compliance company Clearwater Compliance in developing the offering.

While ClinOne last year announced it had partnered with Uber Health to provide the rideshare offering, it was a utility in the back end to fill the need of transportation challenges, said ClinOne CEO Rob Bohacs

“Now it is a true collaboration and integration, between us and Uber Health,” Bohacs told us.

“The new integration is to solve for the major deficiencies in this area among the clinical trials management process. It is truly a value add and helps to solve this issue for both patients and sponsors, making it a much-needed enhancement to their study experience,” he added.

Dan Trigub, Head of Uber Health said in the press release: “We are pleased to be partnered with ClinOne. By working together, we leverage our solutions to ensure better access to health and support patients in their time of need.”
