ACG Engineering acquires Xertecs to add European design to its existing Indian engineering and manufacturing capabilities as it globalizes.

The manufacturing solutions supplier and part of the ACG Group, ACG Engineering, acquired the German pharma processing equipment company Xertecs GmBH. Through this acquisition, ACG acquires 100% of the company’s shareholding.

This acquisition comes after an existing and successful partnership between the two entities.

Xertecs’ portfolio includes conceptualization, design engineering, prototype development, automation design and integration of MES systems, development and optimization of components, complete plant design including 3D modeling, process optimization and delivery of new process equipment.

ACG stated that the goal of this transaction is to give its customers access to European design combined with its existing Indian engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Currently, ACG group has facilities in India, Croatia, and Latin America. The organization opened a capsule production plant in Alegre-Minas Gerais, Brazil in March 2019, another aim to expand its global reach. This facility came after the company previously acquired a plant from Nova Nordeplast located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, establishing the company with a significant presence in the region.
