Trialscout, an online clinical trial recruitment platform developed by Circuit Clinical, recently announced the addition of the hyperCore International network to its database.
hyperCore is an integrated research organization (IRO) consisting of eight clinical research companies and more than 80 clinical trial sites worldwide. Irfan Khan, CEO of Circuit Clinical, stated that the joining of hyperCore is expected to give TrialScout an international reach ‘a year ahead of schedule.’
The Trialscout platform enables patients to rate the clinical trials that they participate in and leave reviews, with an aim to “provide peer-to-peer decision support to potentially new trial participants,” according to Khan.
As a result, the joining of hyperCore is expected to help its member sites “develop and implement ways to reduce patient dropout,” as well as to benefit from the platform’s ratings and reviews, preferential search, and experiential analytics.
To date, two members of the hyperCore network, IACT Health and LMC Manna Research, have completed onboarding to the Trialscout platform.
Mark Lacy, CEO of hyperCore, commented that the partnership will improve the experience for patients participating in its trials, as it provides “an immediate feedback mechanism previously unavailable.”
“This will allow us to incorporate the patient's voice more authentically and intimately, thus helping us drive meaningful change that is desperately needed in clinical research,” Lacy concluded.
