Researchers at ACM Global Laboratories are focused on aiding clinical trials working on treatments for the deadly virus behind the current pandemic.

ACM Global Laboratories, a Rochester, NY company specializing in clinical trial testing services, currently supports studies in more than 65 countries around the world. Now, the company reports it has put in place specialized resources to better support clients conducting research on COVID-19 vaccines, treatments and other solutions.

ACM reportedly is boosting pandemic-related studies by offering special discounts and accelerated review process for COVID-19-centric studies.

A company representative told Outsourcing-Pharma its resources include “MD- and PhD-level” scientific and laboratory experts available to advise clients, as well as project managers, data management, quantitative expertise and other professionals. Additionally, its study support structure can customized sample and patient collection kits, dedicated project management, expert study set up, timely data reporting and integration, global logistics solutions and specimen management expertise and storage options.

The ACM team is available to conduct immunophenotypic analysis, support routine safety and bioanalytical study needs, coordinate and safely handle SARS CoV-2 PCR and serological antibody testing and provide guidance on vaccine assessment. It also offers state-of-the-art instruments and testing platforms, which are available to facilitate viral detection and perform assays to evaluate the safety and efficacy of vaccines and therapeutic interventions to treat COVID-19.
