Vision, part of the company’s Clinical Maestro platform of software-as-a-solution applications, enables study teams to manage clinical vendor oversight.

Strategikon Pharma announced at the 2022 Summit for Clinical Ops Executives (SCOPE) an enhancement to its Clinical Maestro Sponsor Edition platform: Vision, geared toward R&D vendor management. The update is designed to deliver a clinical vendor governance solution that enables pharma users to oversee R&D and manage vendor performance.

Vendor management is an activity that engages multiple departments (including outsourcing, procurement, finance, quality, and clin ops). Handling the complex, disparate data can be challenging and frustrating, making it difficult to make informed decisions efficiently.

We designed the Clinical Maestro Sponsor Edition to address all the major pain points of clinical business operations through cutting-edge technology: clinical study planning and budgeting, outsourcing management, contract tracking, and forecasting,” said Anca Copaescu, founder and CEO of Strategikon Pharma. “With the addition of Vision, we are completing the cycle by bringing new vendor qualification, existing vendor risk scoring and performance management under the same ecosystem, giving strategic sourcing managers, quality groups, and outsourcing teams unprecedented transparency into all key aspects of vendor governance.”

Vision is intended to provide the crucial elements of vendor quality and strategic management (contracts, operational performance, quality, financial key performance indicators) in one place. According to Strategikon, it enables visibility into vendors’ activity details across studies, departments, therapeutic areas, and geographical locations through integrated data and dashboards.

Clinical Maestro is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution designed to improve information management for stakeholders in clinical trial development, including pharmaceutical companies and their R&D partners. It is intended to facilitate budgeting, sourcing, and management functions faster, more accurately, and more easily than other technologies.

Strategikon Pharma is among the companies exhibiting at this year's Summit for Clinical Ops Executives (SCOPE), taking place February 7-10 in Orlando, Florida, and online. For more information about the event, visit www.scopesummit.com
