Ideal Cures launches Instacoat Lab app at CPhI India
The new application – which was launched at CPhI India in Mumbai this week – is designed to let users of Ideal Cures Instacoat tablet coating system fine tune how they employ the technology instantaneously from the factory floor.
Managing director Pareek Suresh told in-Pharmatechnologist.com that: “The app is an important tool that scientists can use to simplify scale-up and to make better use of Ideal Cures coating system.”
He added that the app also allows customers to compare the impact of using Ideal Cures’ technologies with those of other suppliers, citing a recent assessment in which one manufacturer that switched to Instacoat achieved a 47% timesaving as an example of the potential benefits.
“It provides operators working on the factory floor with instant information on best usage of the product, covering everything from the scale-up process to regulatory information on, for example, the colours of coating that can be used in a particular market.”
“Our business model is built on customer support and making it easier for them to use our products” he said, explaining that while the app is “absolutely a marketing tool” it also enhances customer support and fosters closer relationships between Ideal Cures’ and customer R&D teams.
The application – which is designed for smartphones running the android operating system – also provides details of operator training courses and connects interested parties with Ideal Cures’ trainers.
